It is my privilege to share with you a journey that is deeply personal. I never imagined I would one day create a jewellery brand. From a young age, I was drawn to art and fashion — the way a beautiful object can completely alter a mood, a moment, a space. But like many children who defer to their parents' ambitions, I pursued law instead. I built a career in finance and corporate transactions, learning to move confidently through high-pressure rooms. Even then, I sought art and fashion as a constant counterweight — a way to reclaim calm in a world that rarely offered it. Still, in an era of fast production and shorter trends, I struggled to find pieces that felt genuinely my own.
Jadeite was never on my radar. Growing up between Toronto and London, it seemed reserved for grandmothers' jewellery boxes — beautiful, perhaps, but not for me. That changed the moment I stepped into my husband's family jewellery shop. Surrounded by fifty years of expertise and a private collection built stone by stone, I saw jadeite through new eyes. I learnt that what appears uniform to the untrained eye is, to the connoisseur, a universe of translucency, internal flow, and texture. No two pieces are alike. They are geological fingerprints.
The turning point came on an unremarkable evening. Navigating the quiet pressures of a demanding career and a new marriage, I looked down at the jadeite bangle my mother-in-law had gifted me. In that moment of stillness, it anchored me — a visceral reminder to breathe, to return to centre, to hold perspective. I understood then that jewellery could be more than adornment. It could be a steadfast companion of strength.
"Jadeite was never on my radar. Growing up between Toronto and London, it seemed reserved for grandmothers' jewellery boxes — beautiful, perhaps, but not for me."

I knew that anyone navigating the full weight of a demanding life — the milestones, the pressures, the quiet moments between — deserved this same grounding. SÈVE Jadeite was born from that conviction: a mission to bring jadeite into the modern wardrobe. Not as heavy, occasion-only pieces, but as sleek, considered designs that feel effortless to wear and deeply grounding to own.
We draw on five decades of sourcing expertise to curate with integrity. We work exclusively with natural, untreated, Type A jadeite — not as a distinction, but as our floor. Every selection is chosen with uncompromising attention to quality, proportion, and finish, because a piece meant to outlive its first owner deserves nothing less.
Jadeite does not shout. It rewards the discerning eye. It is not reserved for the occasional gala; it is made for the ritual of the everyday. For me, SÈVE Jadeite is more than a brand — it is a return to artistic devotion, a profound respect for lineage, and the creation of jewellery that feels personal, looks effortless, and becomes your own enduring anchor.
